Rom. 16:20; John 12:25-26; 1 John 4:18; John 13:35; Matt. 22:37-40;

1 Cor. 15:31; 1 Kings 17:1-9; 1 Kings 18, 19; Matt. 5:6; Psa. 42:1-5 (Message);

(Heb. 4:12); Matt. 6:33; Psa. 37:4; Rom. 8

“Listen carefully: Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the ground, dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat”. Jesus was actually saying to them, “As long as I am in this body, Jesus of Nazareth, the world is going to battle to see Me. But you are going to see the Christ in His many membered Body. “But if it is buried, it sprouts and reproduces itself many times over”. Then follows a very important key for us all: “In the same way, anyone who holds on to life just as it is destroys that life. But if you let it go, reckless in your love, you’ll have it forever, real and eternal.” (John 12:24-25 – Msg). Without this we will take hold of Romans 8 on the wrong level. There is a certain level of existence that people are clinging to; we can call it mindsets (which govern what we do). Apostolic teaching is aimed at destroying those mindsets (2 Cor 10:4,5) so that we can say “We now have the mind of Christ.”

Towards Being Saved To The Uttermost (The Role Of The Holy Spirit)

Series: Sonship, Holy Spirit

Sun am 22 August 2010 – Kobus Swart

(Gen. 3:8-11); Col. 1:13; Heb. 10:14; Psalms 144:12; Heb. 5:12-14; Rom. 7:5-7, 23-25; Rev. 21:7; Rom. 8:1-4, 6-8, 9-19; 1 Cor. 15:50; 1 John 2:16; 1 Cor.6:19; 1 Thess. 5:23

“For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren” (Rom 8:29).

God instructed Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, “… from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden… You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.” (Gen 3:3). The spirit inside Adam died when they disobeyed God. In Christ the curse on humankind is broken. When we are born again our spirit comes alive. This is not, however, where it ends.

2 Cor. 3:1-3; (John 5:19, 43); Psa. 127:1-5; Psa. 128:1-6; 2 Tim. 2:2; Psa. 144:12; Amos 9:13; John 14:12;  Rom. 8:14, 18-19, 23, 26-29; Rev. 21:7; 1 John 4:17; John 12:24; 1 Cor. 12:12

“You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men…” (2 Cor. 3:2). Paul was saying; “Wherever I move, people can see you are written on my heart, you are a letter on our hearts.”  So wherever the apostolic team went, people could read sons – “living epistles” – on their hearts. People must read something that is written on the tablets of our hearts. In other words, the messenger has become the message. People read what is written on your heart. Living epistles is the way God is going to infect the world, not talking one thing and living another. “Being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts”. (2 Cor. 3:3). This is the way the heavenly Father wants to infect the world and expand His family.

Infecting The World With Jesus

Series: Other Speakers

Sun am 8th August 2010 – Daniel van Eeden

Eph. 4:4-13; John 18:5-6; Rom. 10:8; Matt. 10:40-41; John 1:14 (Message); Eph. 1:22-23; John 6:48-51, 68; Isa. 55:1-3; John 6:63; John 1:1 ; John 12:24-25; 2 Cor. 4:10, 12

Therefore it says, “WHEN HE ASCENDED ON HIGH, HE TOOK CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE, AND HE GAVE GIFTS TO MEN.”(KJV) (Eph. 4:8). Jesus was one man in one body in one place at one time. This truth we are talking about is so simple that we might miss it, and if we knew and lived this truth we would have turned the world upside down by now. Jesus took captive His limitation of being one person at one place at one time and He poured Himself out into the gift ministries in His many-membered body. So where is Christ today? In His many-membered body!
